There have been many months of this year where I have realised that I probably need to detox from chocolate. Obviously that doesn’t happen.
For me, cacao is one of my favourite ingredients and as it comes in so many different forms (powder, butter, block) can be used in many different ways.
The days of needing to pack a dessert full of refined sugar and sweetened milk chocolate to make it delectable are over! YAY!

This is based off a recipe my Mum used to cook for us on freezing winter nights on Phillip Island growing up. I recall her whipping it up in 2 minutes flat and then less than 40 minutes later we would be eating it in from of the fire watching ‘A Country Practice.’ Now you can make your own memories with this healthier recipe.
A brownie made into a celebration cake for the ‘Mr’s’ Birthday. Yes please. I continuously get amazed feedback from this recipe which is sweetened and made fudgy by using sweet potato.
Cashews and cacao make the most delectable combination. You can make this slice into any shape or even roll the mix into bliss balls. A crowd favourite.
Oh WOW. I made this for Christmas last year and over the space of one week I made it for about 30 other people for gifts and simply so we could all roll our eyes in deliciousness heaven. The goji berries go crunchy like candy canes and the apricots go chewy like caramel.
I am my own worst nightmare with this recipe because when I make it I end up eating granola three times per day and so have none left for breakfast within a week. Taste so good!
Way back when my food pics weren’t so crash hot, I made a raw cake which I have been told time and time again is my best ever creation. If you’re a peanut butter fan then you have to make this.
This recipe has been coveted by Lorna Jane, Sarah Wilson and thousands of YOU! It’s a 2 minute recipe which not only packs a nutritional punch, but a taste-bud PAR-TAY as well.
